I started distance running back in 2013 and ran my 1st Boston Marathon in 2018. 2023 will be my 6th Boston Marathon!
The thing that excites me the most about running is having the opportunity to challenge myself daily to be better than I was the last time I ran. Each run is a new opportunity to meet or surpass my goals.
The best advice that I can give my fellow runners is to slow down. Let your easy runs be easy and your fast runs be fast. Be consistent and disciplined with your training and the results will come. Don't be afraid to set BIG goals. Your main limitation is your mindset.
